Scholarships The italian language school ISTITUTO EUROPEO awards, more than 100 Italian Cultural Institutes, schools or Universities, Consulates or Embassies, scholarships for a 100 percent reduction and scholarships for 50 percent reduction in the cost of a 4L course (4 weeks/80 lessons). If you wish to apply for one of our scholarships, you are requested to contact the Italian Cultural Institute, your University, your schools, the Italian Consulate or Embassy in your home country, enclosing a reference from your Italian teacher, and stating the precise name and address of your school/university, and of the teacher concerned about the scholarship. The scholarships do not include accommodation.

M9 Instrumental Music Course
Violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, recorder, oboe, drums, tuba, guitar, and so on… This course is ideal for beginners who would like the opportunity to try a new instrument by having a short 'taster' series of lessons to learn some basic skills. Our friendly and experienced staff will ensure that your first experience of your new instrument is an enjoyable one!
We also cater for university/conservatoire students and professionals who wish to develop their skills on a particular instrument or prepare specific repertoire for auditions or performance.

M13 Preparatory Course for Admission to Conservatories and Music Schools, and for Professional Auditions
Students will be asked to take a language placement test and to audition before the courses begin, in order to determine the most adequate level of instruction.

The M13 program is a series of Italian language and personalized music courses which prepare music and voice students for admission exams/auditions to any Italian or foreign Music Institute. Our instructors are internationally recognized musicians and singers. Under their guidance our students, have successfully been admitted to the L. Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, Accademia d'Arte Lirica di Osimo, the Choir of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the G. Verdi Conservatory of Milan and the Conservatories of Amsterdam and Tokyo.

*M15 Chamber Music Course
This course is designed for musicians of all levels who would like the experience of developing their ensemble playing skills in a friendly and relaxed environment. On arrival students will be placed in ensembles and receive coaching from an experienced chamber music teacher, with a performance opportunity at the end of the course. No prior experience of group playing is required: enthusiasm is equally important!

This program is merely a guide: we will do our best to meet your needs to ensure that your time here with us in Florence is both interesting and enjoyable!

We offer a wide variety of study abroad options and time periods. Students are invited to study for any of the following terms: Spring, Fall, Two Summer Sessions, and a Full Year Session. We also offer an intensive language course where students are able to be submerged into the Italian language, or students may enroll for the language course along with 3 electives of their choice.
