Fabrizio Ulivieri was born on the 10th of February 1956, in Montelupo, Fiorentino. Despite his age, he doesn't seem to grow old.

He received his degree in Letters and Philosophy from the Università degli Studi di Firenze in 1988, and since then has taught Art history and Renaissance Culture courses at Istituto Europeo. He has also Contemporary Italian History and History of Philosophy in various institutes of higher learning. His publications include an essay entitled "Truth and Freedom in the philosophy of Jules Lequier" published in the Department of Philosophy Annals of the university of Florence.

Giovanna completed her degree in Modern Foreign languages and Literature at the Università degli Studi di Firenze in 1998. She completed her specialisation in teaching Italian as a foreign language and her internship at the Istituto Europeo, where she continues to teach Italian language. She has also taught Italian at the Società Dante Alighieri in Florence, and English language and literature at Italian high schools.

After completing Classical studies at Liceo Michelangiolo in Florence, Valentina went on to the Università degli studi di Firenze to study Philosophy, receiving her degree with honours in 1999. She completed her teaching specialisation at the Università degli Studi di Pisa.
